Alumni Gathering pt.II

Another get together was held last week courtesy of an ever obliging sweet school friend of mine. My schoolmates wanted to have a raya gathering and we wanted somewhere different. She and her hubby volunteered to be the host. Although the function was planned in less than a week, the turnout was acceptable. It started at 3 pm with 3 earlybirds and after that, friends started to trickle in. About 50 people came to the get-together that lasted for about 4 hours. Some couldn't make it but hey, maybe next time..
To Sheena and her mum, thanks for being the host!! Next time kita buat bbq pulak.....

Alumni Gathering

Just got back from KL, old boys n girls of SEMESTA organised 'buka puasa' event in Wangsa Maju. I left home early bout noon cos had some shopping to do and got some errands in Kelana Jaya and PJ. I stopped by in Rawang to admire sport rims but the thought of spending 1k at the moment doesn't really tickle my fancy although on previous cars, the stock rims wont last for more than a week.
Anyway, reached the randesvous point at 6.30 pm. Nayie was there and within 10 mts, the crowd got bigger. when the time came, bout 100 people were there. quite a big turnout. As usual, the hoo haa's were there until bout 10.00 pm. finally I left the place at 11 pm, tired but satisfied. To overcome sleepiness, I decided to use the trunk road; took about 1 hour to reach home. That's it for now, gotta get some sleep before 'sahur' tomorrow..

Ramadhan is here again. Alhamdulillah, things are good but could be better. 1 thing better this year is I seldom sleep in the afternoon. Most of the time it will last until 1.00 am before I shut down n powered on again at 5.15 am for iftar.

Biasanya memang buka puasa di rumah but a few outings had been done n some are in the process of becoming reality. Last Saturday (06/09) my son's school held 'solat hajat n buka puasa' for those in year 6. As for Sunday, berbuka dlm kete on the way back from KL (did some grocery shopping at my fav. haunts) before reaching home at 7.30 pm. As for this week, 09/09 ada buat more di KMP and on friday nite(12/09), somebody is kind enough to sponsor 'buka puasa'.

On 20/09, there's a function organised by tha alma mater. hope many would be able to turn up. Last year it was held in Kajang and this year the venue is somewhere in Wangsa Maju. Fingers' crossed...
