Most of the times, I tend to think a lot before making a move. Dalam research selalunya ada dua jenis data iaitu primary and secondary data. Kalu untuk dapat primary data selalunya berisiko tinggi, kalu nak selamat, stick to secondary data....
Most of the time, I seldom get to analyse the result achieved by others in doing the 'near similar' things as to what I'm gonna do. If I'm able to get the data, lagi le lama dok pikir sebelum buat keputusan.
"Only a fool learns from his own mistakes. The wise man learns from the mistakes of others."
And of course the other side of the argument was put forward by Theodore Roosevelt, "The only man who never makes mistakes is the man who never does anything."
Disebabkan oleh pandangan2 sebeginilah yg membuatkan saya terkedu, tersentak, berkira2 dan berbagai2 lagi sblm buat sesuatu benda but this time....
Yep, it all started with when I managed to track down an old friend. She suggested that I join Fb to rekindle those memories. Actually, I've heard of Fb before but never got the urge to explore it but this time, something pushed me to get started. To be honest, I'm quite surprised with the result tho' I kinda expect it. Long lost friends are found, as an added bonus, some got profile photos attached, giving me the chance of 'seeing' them after 10-13 years of absence.
It's nice to see a budding musician friend of mine has made his presence felt in London. I still remember when we were about to come back in 1995, he was about to start his career over there. Well done, Art..
Well, this discovery has certainly pressurised me to log in more often, at least when the feeling is still piping hot!!

Jugglers
There are times when you are up there and there are times when you are bogged down and these last 13 days have been somewhat hectic and pressing. Starting with the new arrival, roundtrips to KL and Shah Alam, ferrying trips to the hospital, open houses, exams etc....
Tomorrow I'm going back to work after nearly 3 weeks off; have to see what to be done before school breaks for Deepavali until wednesday. Come thursday n friday I may have to go to Ipoh overseeing the kids shooting down the alleys.
All in all, it's a mixture of events; joining the crowd or organising functions within those 13 days. Yes, I realise that fulfilling the invitations was REALLY something which is being highly appreciated by the hosts.. Take for example, the gathering at a friend's house somewhere in Glenmarie last sunday, being partially responsible to make sure that things don't get thrown away and hoping that the 'tuan rumah' would get the satisfaction of being the host (not to mention the toil of preparing the dishes), it somehow affected me. It made me think off the things that you cant live without... Is it the family? Is it the friends? Is it the feeling of being needed? Is it the feeling of being useful? Is it the bond or is it the satisfaction of being able to JUST do something to make the days go by??
As the final school term is approaching its pit stop, I feel suffocated by the workload that needs to be cleared before the scripts come piling up on the dining table...
Hmm, time to get down to planned work again...

Alumni Gathering pt.II
Another get together was held last week courtesy of an ever obliging sweet school friend of mine. My schoolmates wanted to have a raya gathering and we wanted somewhere different. She and her hubby volunteered to be the host. Although the function was planned in less than a week, the turnout was acceptable. It started at 3 pm with 3 earlybirds and after that, friends started to trickle in. About 50 people came to the get-together that lasted for about 4 hours. Some couldn't make it but hey, maybe next time..
To Sheena and her mum, thanks for being the host!! Next time kita buat bbq pulak.....

New Kid on the Block

Finally the day had come for the newcomer to join the family. Although technically he's not ready but due to a few factors, he had to 'come out' last friday 10 Oct 2008 in Shah Alam. Kinda frantic experience for the mother cos had a slight problem after delivery but thanks to the OnG docs there, everything was under control within 2 hours. I had to make 2 round trips from tg malim to shah alam; 1st to send the mummy in for labour n 2ndly had to process the placenta and picked up the rest to be 'stationed' at sec.8 until sunday. A few friends and family members turned up during our 3-day stay. thanks to blacqk, che yang, cho, zack, anis, salwa, umi n abah, mdan, c nyah n sheena for the support shown.
Finally, on sunday at about 6.30 pm. the doc gave the greenlight for us to go home. After settling everything and paid the bill, we started our return journey at 8.20 pm and reached home at 9.20 pm. Felt tired but heck, I still have another 5 days to rest..
Anyway, just wanna welcome the newcomer and hope that our lives would be happier with him around.
Welcome Aboard, Boy......
Just for laugh
Somebody posted in 1 of the forum, due to current economic turmoil..
Ease up.. okay??
Regrettably, more bad financial news. Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan.
In the last 7 days:
Origami Bank has folded,
Sumo Bank has gone belly up
Tempura Bank is in hot oil
Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.
Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song
shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.
Samurai Bank are soldiering on following sharp cutbacks,
Ninja Bank are reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.
500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop.
Analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.

So near, yet so far
Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera.
O Allah, most gracious n most merciful as well as most forgiven....
This is the first year we are celebrating Eid in our own home, a change from the norm of going back to 'kampung'. Myself and the kids are going back on the 2nd raya. The neighbourhood is desolate, void of any harbinger..
It seems not so right to blog on the first day of Syawal, hence I'd like to I like to take this opportunity to humbly seek apologies, from the pit of my heart, if I have in any way (intentional/unintentional), offended any of my cyber friends with my words or thoughts. I never intended to graze anyone's solemness for whatever that has been written here applies to my 'territory' only.. Not only that, to old friends, forgiveness are sought as well for all my wrongdoings years and years ago that I may have not been able to redeem from any relevant individuals.
for the mind that might be deceiving,
for the eyes that might see evil,
for the mouth that might run foul,
for the heart that might misinterpret,
for all those are signs that we are not perfect...
forgive me o Allah.. and shower all Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) followers with your bountiful blessing and forgiveness on this auspicious and special day...
Salam 'Idil Fitr......

Sedekah
PUTRAJAYA 24 Sept.

I dont know whether this person in particular knows what he's dealing with when he made comments to the press. I dont know how to react; angry cos he's soo stupid or sympathise with him cos he's soo shallow bout the do's n dont's of a Muslim. adultery/ fornication to be compared with sedekah?? No wonder the younger generation today is getting reckless, the examples set by the leaders today are left wanting for more....
